CAUSE
It is the premise of the book that it is chemicals and radiation that causes cancer. Each day, more and more studies prove this to be the case. Here are the latest links.
STUDY LINKS CHEMICAL USED IN PLASTICS TO BREAST CANCER
A CHEMICAL used in plastic bottles and other household products may be linked to the development of breast cancer, researchers said yesterday. US scientists showed that high concentrations of Bisphenol A (BPA), an oestrogen-like chemical which mimics female hormones, can stimulate cancer cells.

84% SUNSCREEN PRODUCTS HARMFUL TO HEALTH
For 29 years, the FDA has refused to publish safety standards for sunscreen products. That's nearly three decades of keeping the public in the dark about the extremely harmful, cancer-causing chemicals found in sunscreen products. Any idea why the Food and Drug Administration has taken so long to set safety standards for a product used by over 100 million Americans? If you guessed, "Because the greedy corporations selling the toxic sunscreen products don't want the FDA to study the safety of their products," give yourself golden star sticker. You got it!

STOPPING CANCER AT ITS SOURCE
During our lives, we are unwittingly exposed to thousands of cancer-causing substances - carcinogens. Many of these are man-made, including synthetic chemicals in everyday products and environmental pollutants. We at the Cancer Prevention and Education Society believe it is time to stop this toxic tide. It is not acceptable that one in three of us will get cancer during our lifetimes, a figure expected to rise to one in two by 2020. Use this website to learn more, make your contribution to the action, and help sound the alert on the chemical causes of cancer.

WHAT'S THE CONNECTION BETWEEEN BREAST CANCER AND CHEMICALS IN THE ENVIRONMENT?
Groundbreaking research found that synthetic chemicals have likely played a large role in the rising incidence of breast cancer throughout the world over the last half-century.

BODY ABSORBS 5 POUND OF MAKE-UP CHEMICALS A YEAR
Women who use make-up on a daily basis are absorbing almost 5lb of chemicals a year into their bodies, it is claimed.
woman applying lipstick: Body absorbs 5lb of make-up chemicals a year. Many use more than 20 different beauty products a day striving to look their best while nine out of 10 apply make-up which is past its use by date.
Dependence on cosmetics and toiletries means that a cocktail of 4lb 6oz of chemicals a year is absorbed into the body through the skin. Some synthetic compounds involved have been linked to side effects ranging from skin irritation to premature ageing and cancer.

BREAST CANCER - AN EVIRONMENTAL DISEASE REPORT
The No More Breast Cancer campaign argues that many cases of breast cancer are linked to cancer-causing agents in the environment and in our bodies.
* In the environment - cancer-causing chemicals are present in detergents, pesticides and plastics approved for everyday use by government. Of around 100,000 man-made chemicals polluting our environment, there are more than 500 man-made chemicals that are thought to disrupt the hormones in the body and mimic the role of oestrogen - a hormone closely linked with the development of breast cancer.
* In our bodies - over 400 man-made chemicals have been found in human blood and body tissue. Cancer-causing substances and hormone-disrupting chemicals are included in this 'toxic burden'.

SOFT DRINKS FOUND TO HAVE HIGH LEVELS OF CANCER CHEMICAL
TRACES of a carcinogenic chemical have been found in soft drinks at eight times the level permitted in drinking water, it was revealed last night. Tests conducted on 230 drinks on sale in Britain and France have identified high levels of benzene, a compound known to cause cancer, according to the Food Standards Agency. There is a legal limit of one part per billion of benzene in British drinking water. The latest tests revealed levels of up to eight parts per billion in some soft drinks.
Benzene has been linked to leukaemia and other cancers of the blood. Traces found in Perrier water 15 years ago led to the withdrawal of more than 160 million bottles worldwide.

CANCER CHEMICAL FOUND IN COFFEE
COFFEE is responsible for as much as a third of daily consumption of the cancer-causing chemical acrylamide, research by the United Nations has found. The study reveals that coffee may give those who drink it anything from 13% to 39% of the acrylamide they consume — only chips and crisps are responsible for greater quantities on average.
Acrylamide is produced during cooking, particularly high-temperature processes such as frying and roasting. Some of the highest levels are found in chips, crisps, biscuits and bread, but it has now emerged that roasting coffee beans also produces significant amounts.

PREVENTION
It is the premise of the book that cancer can be prevented by basic lifestyle changes and by building up the immune system. Here are the latest links.
VITAMIN D REDUCES CANCER BY UPTO 77%
Most Americans and others are not taking enough vitamin D, a fact that may put them at significant risk for developing cancer, according to a landmark study conducted by Creighton University School of Medicine. Over the course of four years, women in the calcium/vitamin D3 group experienced a 60 percent decrease in their cancer risk than the group taking placebos.
- (Creighton University, June, 2007)
VITAMIN D
Imagine incorporating an inexpensive, single supplement into your life that forces you to get a little sunshine and promises to strengthen your bones, thwart different forms of cancer, stave off multiple sclerosis and autoimmune disorders and fight infections.
New research into the preventive benefits of vitamin D has raised hopes that the sunshine vitamin, which is produced naturally in the body through exposure to the sun's ultraviolet rays, could extend and improve people's lives.

CURE
It is the premise of the book that cancer can be prevented by changes in one's lifestyle and the use of a natural herb called artemisinin. Each day, more and more studies prove this to be the case. Here are the latest links. More information opposite.
BUILDING ON PREVIOUS WORK
"A Group of promising cancer-fighting compounds derived from a substance used in ancient Chinese medicine will be developed for potentual use in humans, the University of Washington announced today."

THREE CHAPTERS FROM THE BOOK (FREE)
Sherlock Holmes Solves the Nun's Disease

Using the character of Sherlock Holmes and his methods for the basis of of one of the chapters in the book Breast Cancer "Cause - Prevention - Cure" I believe I am the first person to answer the riddle that has perplexed scholars and the medical profession for three hundred years or more - the riddle why nuns were more prone to breast cancer than other women.
The document you are about to read is from the twelth chapter of my book Breast Cancer "Cause - Prevention - Cure"
The premise of the book is that it is primarily chemicals in our
environment that cause breast cancer (and other cancers) and that our bodies are full of
toxins, the body burden, as it is known. Our bodies however do have very efficient
mechanisms to remove such toxins but the problem is that modern restrictive clothing,
dietary factors and other related issues hamper these mechanisms described in the book.
If the thesis of my book is correct there is one thing that needed to be addressed. It is
the riddle why nuns were particularly prone to getting the disease during the seventeenth,
eighteenth and nineteenth centuries, more so than other women were. It is a riddle that
has perplexed many a learned mind and until now nobody has come up with a satisfactory
explanation. It is because of the frequency of breast cancer among nuns that the disease
was known until recent times as "The Nun’s Disease".....
PROOF! Cervical Cancer NOT Caused by a Virus but is Chemically Induced

When I was researching my book Breast Cancer "Cause - Prevention - Cure" I came upon considerable evidence to show that chemicals (and radiation) was the primary cause of all cancers. But when I was looking into Cervical Cancer, this appeared to be the exception to the rule. According to the medical profession and most scientific literature discussing the subject this cancer is caused by a virus known as HPV (Human Papilloma Virus).
It did seem to be an open and shut case, until I began to look into it deeper and then it became clear HPV was not responsible at all and that the medical profession had been following a false trail. The real culprit was staring them in the face and once again chemicals was involved.....
Could this new drug be the REAL Cure for Breast Cancer at Last?

I believe that there is now a proven drug that is effective against breast cancer. I believe that it can stop breast cancer in its tracks but also to prevent it. What is it? Please take the trouble to read the three pages associated with this link and you will find out yourself what I mean. Whether you agree with me or not that is your choice, but at least when the synthetic version of the drug is presented as the CURE within the coming five years, you cannot say you were ignorant. Why five years?
The answer to that question involves politics, corruption, logistics and the need to produce a synthetic version of the drug. In fact in 2004 the Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation has awarded $42.6 million to a nonprofit pharmaceutical company, to develop the synthetic drug. So far this has not been achieved, and yet, the drug is available NOW. It is derived from a plant crop that is grown in China and Vietnam, and it has already saved millions of people who have been infected by another terrible scourge of mankind, namely malaria. It is an incredible story, a story that begins amid the blood torn battlefields of Vietnam and what was later found in an ancient Chinese tomb .....

PROFESSOR HOWARD SUPPORTS FINDINGS OF THE BOOK
Professor Vyvyan Howard explains how the original risk assessment of chemicals grossly underestimated chemical toxicity. As an example he talks about Bisphenol A, an endocrine disrupter, which leaches from every day products such as plastic feeding bottles. This adds to the risk of cancer. He talks about the limitations of modern toxicology and welcomes Europe's first chemical hazard assessment programme, known as REACH. He calls for an immediate precautionary reduction in the production of all chemicals.

THE CANCER PLAGUE
While the world's scientists debate and argue about Global Warming, and with good reason, something more dreadful is occurring that has greater far reaching consequences. Since the beginning of the 20th century, a plague unlike any other in history as been sweeping the world. The plague is CANCER, at it is slow, it is quiet and it is deadly. It has now reached pandemic proportions and yet it is almost a secret. "After decades of misleading assurances of major progress in the war against cancer the National Cancer Institute and the American Cancer Society in a stunning reversal admitted that the incidence of cancer is expected to double by 2050. In 2003 a WHO report stated that global cancer rates could increase by 50% to 15 million by 2020. But it is far worse than anyone thinks. Why this site? If you read some of the articles on this page you can see why there is a need for Independant Cancer Research ...
It is my objective through this site to bring you the facts, the real facts as to what is going on. I shall seperate the truth from the lies, and sort out the facts from the fiction. I will leave no stone unturned in this endeavour because you have the right to know who or what is killing you - and why. But I also offer HOPE! Not only will I tell you about the causes of the various kinds of cancer, I shall also describe various ways in which you can prevent you from getting the disease in the first place. And, for those who have been diagnosed with cancer, I can now tell you about a remarkable REAL cure for cancer that has recently been discovered.....
DOOMWATCH 2050
The sages of old say that once there was a garden in a land called Eden where man was born, naked and unashamed. But man is easliy deceived and he was cast out into another Eden, one that was wild and untamed. For thousands of years he learned to tame that which had been given to him, and he spread his seed across the face of the earth until today he is master of all that he sees. But he lacked wisdom and he plundered the earth of all its wealth with no regard to what he was doing and now, in this the 21st Century he is about to face the consequences of his actions. He has but a short time...
Human population is expanding far beyond the long-term carrying capacity of the land, and the ever-increasing spectre of man-made pollution continues unabated, slowly but surely destroying the very habitat upon which he lives. The ozone layer is contracting so that harmful rays are ever increasing, while the global climate is showing worrisome signs of instability. Oil the foundation upon which the world's products and econemy depends is running out and global economic collapse in sight. And all roads lead to the year 2050 ....
THE ANSWER TO ALL THERE IS
The world famous playright William Shakespare wrote in one of his plays (Hamlet I, v, 166-167) that "There are more things in heaven and earth, Horatio, than are dreamt of in your philosophy." The meaning of this quote is that when things seem wrong, confusing or unjust that there is more to a system than meets the eye - levels of truth, meaning and complexity not visible to the casual observer. My forthcoming book "THE ANSWER TO ALL THERE IS" expands upon this theme because the world in which we live is not what it appears to be.
This is a history book the likes of which you have not seen before. Athough it reads like an epic novel, it in fact describes real events, real people and is my interpretation of thirty years or research I have carried out in the fields of history, archaeology, religion and science to bring you a rational explanation as to who we are, what we are and why we are. If you thought that you control your life you are very much mistaken. What happens in the universe and the future depends upon the outcome of a titanic struggle between forces beyond our comprehension, but mankind is the key to its resolution. The future hangs in the balance ... The book will be published late in 2007 but in the meantime here you will find a repository of my libary of articles, materials and links to the writings of old that provide some of the clues that has led to the book's culmination. Likewise as the book unfolds, links will be provided to the source writings and articles, some deposited on this site, for you to study....
